Dear Patients

We hope that you have been keeping well and would like to thank you for your understanding and patience throughout the time we have been closed.

You may have heard on the news last week that dental practices are to reopen on Monday 8th June.  While this is great news we are still a while away from ‘business as usual’.  We will have to work with many restrictions set up Public Health England, as to what treatments we are permitted to carry out on a face-to-face basis.  We are currently waiting for further guidance on this.

We hope you understand that due to this, we will only be seeing emergency patients and these will be prioritised in order of urgency.  We kindly request that you do not enter the practice unless you have been given an appointment.

At Lillywhite Dental Practice, our main priority is for the safety and comfort of our patients and staff.  While we have always kept a clean and safe environment, due to the Covid 19 pandemic we will need to bring in further measures to ensures everyones safety.

-    We will carry out a telephone pre-screening questionnaire the day before your appointment

-    All staff and patients will have their temperature checked on arrival at the practice

-    We will increase appointment intervals to allow more time between patients for cleaning the practice and to ensure waiting areas do not get overcrowded

-    We will not be allowing anyone into the practice until it is safe to do so, please bear in mind you may need to wait outside until we let you in.

Please rest assured we will continue to communicate the next phase of openings, once they have been confirmed, via our website and social media  so please do check it regularly.

If you do have any further questions please do not hesitate to contact our Reception Team who will be more than happy to help.

Thank you again for your patience through the difficult period and we look forward to seeing you again soon

Kindest Regards
